Working in Singapore

During your studies, you are allowed to work for not more than 16 hours per week and full time during your holidays. You don’t need to apply for additional permission from the Ministry of Manpower if your work hours are within the permitted limit. After study, an Employment Pass Eligibility Certificate allows you to stay in Singapore for up to one year to facilitate your job search. After you find a job, you need to apply for an Employment Pass to start working.
